Mt Hooker, Wind River Range // 8/20/20014

A few images from Mt Hooker in the Wind River Range of Wyoming last week with Kate Rutherford and Anne Gilbert Chase after completing a one day free ascent. The original route on Mt Hookers north face was first climbed in 1964 by Royal Robbins, Dick McCracken and Charlie Raymond. Then, in 1990, Galen Rowell, Todd Skinner, Paul Piana and Tim Toula completed the first free ascent on Hookers north face with a variation to Shady lady/Original Route, naming it Jaded lady 5.12a. In August of 2013, Whit Magro and Josh Wharton were the first to complete a one day ascent of this route.

Nice work ladies!

More words and images to come soon in the story section of my site.
